2 killed in terrorist attacks

Two Israelis have been killed by Islamic Jihad terrorists overnight.

An Israel Defence Forces soldier that was stabbed by a Palestinian terrorist in Tel Aviv on Monday night (Australian time) has died.

And in a separate attack a 25-year-old woman, Dalia Lemkus (pictured), was also stabbed to death.

Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for the attacks while Hamas praised the terrorists.

One of the terrorists, an 18-year-old Palestinian man from Nablus in the West Bank, was arrested soon after he attacked the soldier.

The second has been identified by Israel’s security sources as 30-year-old Maher Hamdi Hashalamun from Hebron.
