Your chance to quiz the President
ISRAEL’S President Reuven Rivlin is to answer questions submitted by readers of The Australian Jewish News.
The AJN’s Israel correspondent Nathan Jeffay has been invited to the presidential residence next week, to meet Rivlin and prepare a special article for Yom Ha’atzmaut. And Rivlin’s staff have agreed to include some questions from readers in the discussion.
Jeffay said: “When I got my invitation to visit Rivlin I had just returned to Israel from post-election panels in Melbourne and Sydney, where I got the chance to talk to readers and hear so many thoughtful questions about Israel today. So I immediately requested that the President considers addressing some reader questions.”
Questions for the President should be sent to rivlin@jewishnews.net.au by noon on Monday, April 13.
