FORMER Socceroo Hayden Foxe headlined North Caulfield Maccabi Junior Football Club’s Family Day, with the Melbourne Heart assistant coach putting Maccabi’s young guns through their paces.

Foxe, who played with English Premier League sides West Ham United, Portsmouth and Leeds United, used his wealth of experience from his time in England and with A-League teams Perth Glory and Sydney FC to improve the dribbling, passing, shooting and juggling skills of the starry-eyed youths.

At the conclusion of the session, each player was given a signed photo with Foxe, and had the opportunity to find out the intricacies of the game in question time.

The players were urged to implement the skills and knowledge they learnt from the veteran soccer guru in their next matches.
