POLICE have caught a man who graffitied Federal MP Josh Frydenberg’s office hours after the election was called by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull last week.

“Your Ford Flying Car is coming partly Jew to Josh!!” was daubed on Frydenberg’s electorate office in Camberwell.

Frydenberg, who is also the Minister for Resources, Energy and Northern Australia, said it was a regrettable incident. “Police followed the issue up rapidly and were successful in capturing the offender,” he said.

Frydenberg is the Federal Member for Kooyong. He won the 2013 election with a primary vote of 55.69 per cent, and 61.06 per cent in the two-party-preferred vote. The Jewish MP will run for election against Labor candidate Marg D’Arcy and Greens candidate Helen McLeod.
