Hamas: Killing of baby a “natural response”
Hamas spokesman Hossam Badran welcomed the murder of three-month-old baby Chaya Zissel Braun in Jerusalem by a terrorist.
“This is a natural response to the crimes of the occupation and invasion of our land by the Jews, particularly on the Al-Aqsa Mosque (the Temple Mount),” Badran stated on official Hamas television.
21-year-old Abdur Rahman Slodi drove his car into a pedestrian crossing in Jerusalem near a train station.
He injured eight people and killed the young baby.
The official Hamas television station said that the terrorist was shot and wounded by police but has not been killed.
A US official told The Jerusalem Post that Chaya was a US citizen.
