Hightened terror alert after US kills Osama Bin Laden

WHILE Israelis and Diaspora Jewry congratulated the United States in their successful operation to assassinate Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, global terror experts warned of a possible backlash by supporters of the terror kingpin.

On April 25, WikiLeaks reported that Al Qaeda terrorists have threatened to unleash a “nuclear hellstorm” on the West if their leader and world’s most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden is nabbed.

A senior al Qaeda commander has claimed that the terror group has stashed away a nuclear bomb in Europe which will be detonated if bin Laden is ever caught or assassinated, WikiLeaks revealed in leaked documents.

The documents are secret details of the background to the capture of each of the 780 people held at or have passed through the Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba, along with their medical condition and the information they have provided during interrogations.

On Sunday night, US President Barack Obama announced that US forces had attacked a compound in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad where intelligence had determined Bin Laden had been hiding. Following a firefight, in which Bin Laden was killed, US forces took custody of Bin Laden’s body. A White House announcement was made after the body was conclusively identified as that of Bin Laden
