Israel on track for Euro2016
Israel is track to reach the 2016 European Football Championships finals after a 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday morning (Australian time).
The win moves Israel to the top of Qualifying Group B with three wins from three games.
Gil Vermot opened the scoring for Israel in the 36th minutes and the Omar Damari double the lead only seconds before half-time.
Eran Zahavi scored int he 70th minutes to secure the win for Israel.
Israel’s chances of qualifying was boosted by a 0-0 result between Belgium and Wales.
The top two in each group go through to the finals.
Israel is one point ahead of Wales and a three ahead of Cyprus with a game in hand.
Israel will play two important games in four days in Haifa when it hosts Wales on March 28 and Belgium on March 31.
