Rabbi Yossi Feldman delisted

RABBI Yossi Feldman (pictured) was delisted as a Chabad shliach by Chabad headquarters in New York on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for Yeshiva in Sydney said that Rabbi Feldman is “no longer listed on the international registry of Chabad-Lubavitch shluchim.

“Rabbi Feldman no longer works at or represents the Yeshiva Centre and its affiliated Chabad institutions in any capacity – administrative or teaching, paid or voluntary.”

The announcement comes as a result of Rabbi Feldman’s testimony at the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, where he made national headlines because of his outrageous comments.

He has since apologised.

“I apologise to anyone in the rabbinate, the Jewish community and the wider Australian community who may have been embarrassed or ashamed by my views, words, understandings, recordings or emails about child sexual abuse or any other matter,” Rabbi Feldman said.
