Malka Leifer sentenced to 15 years in prison
Malka Leifer has been sentenced to 15 years in prison, with a non-parole period of eleven-and-a-half years. With time already served being taken into account, she could be released in 2029.

Malka Leifer, the school board and the legal consequences of failing to report child sexual abuse
According to that 2015 civil hearing, presided over by Justice Jack Rush, an Adass Israel School teacher, Sharon Bromberg, had reported serious allegations against Leifer at three separate meetings within one week to at least 10 people active and respected in the Adass community.
