Worldwide women gather in OZ
REPRESENTING 16 different countries and five Australian states, passionate female Jewish leaders gathered at the International Council of Jewish Women (ICJW) Quadrennial Convention in Sydney last week, at which the organisation's first Australian president, Robyn Lenn, completed her four-year term of presidency.

Gett submission to Law Reform Commission
The National Council of Jewish Women of Australia (NCJWA) and Unchain My Heart have lodged a joint submission on gett (Jewish bill of divorce) to the Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC), which is conducting the first comprehensive review into the family law system since the commencement of the Family Law Act in 1976.

Tackling anti-Semitism
When confronted with casual anti-Semitism, “It is unfortunately our instinct to err on the side of saying nothing,” said NSW Jewish Board of Deputies (JBOD) CEO Vic Alhadeff. That was the focus of the panel discussion held at the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia (NCJWA) in conjunction with the JBOD last week.
