Vote for your favourite finalists in our photo competitions and you could be in the running to win a prize pack of five recently-published travel books.

THE finalists in our two summer photo competitions have been selected!

All the entries from members of the community who entered their holiday photos, along with spectacular sunrise and sunset photos, have been narrowed down to six finalists in each category.

One lucky reader who correctly matches the judges’ choice for the winning photos in each category will be in the running to win a prize pack of five recently-published travel books.

Take a look at all the finalists pictured below (click on any photo to view the gallery), then scroll down the page to enter the competition.

Only one vote per person is allowed and voting closes on Monday, February 24 at 10am. Just select the photo you think will win each category and enter the identifying letter, along with your name and contact details.

The books in the prize pack are:

* TLV – Tel Aviv: Recipes and stories from Israel by Jigal Krant, an Amsterdam-based food journalist and filmmaker who has made Tel Aviv his second home for more than two decades. The book is packed with insights into the city’s favourite restaurants, street eats and chefs, featuring photos and recipes. It is published by Smith Street Books, $55 (rrp).

Lee Atkinson’s The Definitive Bucket List offers hundreds of holiday ideas across Australia and New Zealand, from luxury escapes to walking holidays, bike rides, train journeys, golfing trips, garden tours and unforgettable wildlife encounters. The book is published by Hardie Grant Travel, $45 (rrp).

Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2020 highlights the top 10 countries, cities, regions and best-value destinations for this year. In the Top 10 regions category, the Central Asian Silk Road heads the list that includes Lord Howe Island. The book sells for $27.99 (rrp).

Lonely Planet’s Wonders of the World showcases 101 spectacular sights from Antarctica and the Amazon to the Great Wall of China, along with Australian attractions such as the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. The coffee-table book features beautiful photography, expert advice and local secrets. It retails for $44.99 (rrp).

Penny Watson’s Slow Travel is a practical compendium of places, activities, tours and experiences that will inspire you to slow down and enjoy the ebb and flow of travel in a more thoughtful and philosophical way. Slow Travel is published by Hardie Grant Travel, $50 (rrp).

* This competition is open to Australian residents only. Employees of The Australian Jewish News and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

* One entry per person using the form on this page.

* Voting closes on Monday, February 24 at 10am.

* The winning entry will be decided by The AJN. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be announced in The AJN and on www.jewishnews.net.au.

* The winner will be contacted by The AJN and will receive the prize pack containing TLV – Tel Aviv, The Definitive Bucket List, Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2020, Lonely Planet’s Wonders of the World and Slow Travel.
