Win tickets to A Musical Mélange at NSTE

Held at North Shore Temple Emanuel’s Valerie Jaye Hall (VJs) on Sunday 18 February from 7pm, A Musical Mélange at VJs celebrates the arrival of Cantor Ted Labow as Interim Cantor for six months.

The versatile Canadian cantor is not only an accomplished dramatic baritone, singing in several languages including Hebrew, Russian, French, German and Italian, but a talented pianist in multiple styles.

Expect to hear piano tunes from Cantor Ted alongside jazz saxophonist Mark Ginsburg, and Sydney jazz greats Dave Goodman on drums and Hannah James on bass. Choirs from Emanuel Synagogue and NSTE, as well as the Spanish and Ladino specialist choir, Coro Austral, will also perform. In addition, NSTE Choir Director, Judy Campbell, will contribute a tang of Brazilian jazz. Other performers include Emanuel Synagogue Choir Director, Andrea Catzel, and musical theatre performers, Aaron Robuck, and Breina Abo.
