Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots tells the story of Charlie Price, who reluctantly inherits a struggling shoe factory from his father. In an effort to save the factory from closure, Charlie forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret performer and drag queen Lola to produce a line of high-heeled boots made especially for men, and in the process, a special friendship is borne between two very different people.
