US to move Embassy in May
The American Embassy will be moved to Jerusalem in May.
AN American State Department official has confirmed that the US will move its Embassy to Jerusalem in May, to coincide with 70 years since the establishment of the State of Israel.
“We’re planning to open the new US Embassy to Israel in Jerusalem in May,” the US official told The Jerusalem Post.
“The Embassy will initially be located in Arnona, on a compound that currently houses the consular operations of Consulate General Jerusalem.
“At least initially, it will consist of the Ambassador and a small team.”
